Daryl Gibson believes new signing Bryce Hegarty will be a perfect fit for the Waratahs.
Fly-half Hegarty was on Thursday confirmed as the Waratahs' final recruit ahead of the Super Rugby season, which starts in February.
After making his debut in 2013, the versatile 23-year-old spent two full seasons with the Rebels before linking up with Japanese Top League outfit Toyota Industries Shuttles and has now opted to return to his homeland.
Warratahs head coach Gibson has high hopes for his latest signing.
"Bryce has excellent skills and experience, with two years of Super Rugby as a fly-half under his belt." Gibson said.
"He is a solid all-rounder, capable of playing at 10 or full-back, which will give our back-line extra options.
"He is a great addition to the squad and I think our system will suit his style of play."
