Charles Ollivon has been named in place of the injured Bernard Le Roux in a 32-man France squad to prepare for the November internationals.
Racing 92 flanker Le Roux, part of coach Guy Noves' 'elite squad' of 30 players named ahead of the 2016-17 season, will be unavailable for the impending Tests due to a thigh issue.
Ollivon, who made his only previous appearances for Les Bleus in 2014, has been selected as Le Roux's replacement.
Louis Picamoles and Virimi Vakatawa are the only other two players included for the training camp from October 30 to November 4 that were not named in the elite squad.
Toulon centre Mathieu Basteraud, Racing 92 full-back Brice Dulin and Clermont Auvergne pair Morgan Parra and Camille Lopez have been overlooked by Noves.
Les Bleus face Samoa in Toulouse on November 12 before taking on Australia and New Zealand at the Stade de France on November 19 and 26 respectively.
