Western Force have signed Australia international hooker Tatafu Polota-Nau for the 2017 Super Rugby season.
Polota-Nau, who has been capped by his country 68 times, joins from the Waratahs, where he made 140 appearances in the southern hemisphere competition over a 10-year spell.
The 31-year-old was left out of the Wallabies squad for the upcoming internationals but hopes to earn a return to the national team by impressing with the Force next year.
"I'm really excited to sign with the Western Force for 2017. There were a few big decisions for me to make that have led to me lining up with the Force for next year," Polota-Nau said in a club statement.
"The decision to stay in Australia also came down to the opportunity of playing for the Wallabies again.
"I think it is really important we make the most of our time in the gold jersey because I think it is something to be proud of."
