Chris Ashton's appeal against a 10-week ban for allegedly making contact with the eyes of Ulster's Luke Marshall will be heard on Wednesday.
Saracens wing Ashton was cited for the incident that took place in the 16th minute of their 33-17 win in the European Champions Cup fixture at Allianz Park on January 16.
An independent judicial officer deemed the action worthy of a 10-week suspension, which would make the 28-year-old unavailable for the entirety of England's Six Nations campaign.
Ashton's case will be heard by the independent Appeal Committee in London, where the ban could be reduced or overturned.
On Sunday, England head coach Eddie Jones called up Bath wing Semesa Rokoduguni as cover pending a final decision on the issue.
