Saracens hungry for more silverware - Itoje

Saracens will keep their European Champions Cup winning celebrations to a minimum as they look to complete the double with Premiership glory, says Maro Itoje.

Saturday's 21-9 victory over Racing 92 in Lyon saw Saracens crowned the best team in Europe for the first time, Itoje named man of the match after another stunning performance.

However, the 21-year-old has his sights set on more silverware as they prepare to meet Leicester Tigers in the Premiership semi-finals this weekend.

"We have feedback from the coaches after every match and we want to keep pushing forward, which is why it will be back to work at the start of the week to prepare for Leicester," he is quoted as saying by the Evening Standard.

"Our season is not over. We have at least one more big game to go and we want to finish the season in the right way."

Saracens skipper Brad Barritt echoed the flanker's thoughts and called for further improvements from Mark McCall's side.

"As good as this feeling is, all that matters is that we keep getting better," said Barritt.

"The spirit of this side is the foundation on which everything is built. It is a culture that has been bred over the past six years.

"We came up short against Toulon in the Champions Cup Final two years ago and that experience galvanised us. We speak metaphorically about pounding the rock, and thankfully, the rock broke on Saturday."
