Clermont Auvergne moved to the summit in Top 14 after a comprehensive 45-12 victory over Grenoble at Stade des Alpes.
The result gave Les Jaunards their fourth win in five Top 14 matches and moved them above Racing 92 and Toulon in the table ahead of the weekend's other fixtures.
The visitors were boosted by the return of Jonathan Davies and Scott Spedding during the break in the Six Nations, and their strength proved too much for Grenoble in a first half littered with tries.
Early scores from David Strettle and Davies were followed by a hat-trick from Noa Nakaitaci, and Morgan Parra converted all five to put Clermont 38-5 up at the break, with Rory Grice landing Grenoble's solitary try.
A penalty from Parra and a try from substitute Enzo Sanga made the scoreline emphatic in the second half, and a second try from Grice proved nothing more than a consolation for Grenoble.
