Launched in April 2016 by Rugby International Marketing, the commercial arm of USA Rugby, TheRugbyChannel.tv is a subscription-based online service offering exclusive live and on-demand coverage of top-tier domestic and international rugby matches.
The groundbreaking "over the top" video platform features both free and paid rugby content. For USA Rugby domestic fans, the USA Rugby National Championships are free, including the Men's & Women's Club 15s, Men's & Women's Club 7s & Men's and Women's Collegiate 7s National Championships. Fans can also watch highlights for free on TRC Report, The Rugby Channel's weekly highlights show, plus news bulletins, interviews and short features, along with fixtures and live scores from competitions around the world.
Paying subscribers receive access to exclusive live event programming from across the United States, Europe and beyond. Rugby Channel delivers all the USA Men's & Women's National Team test matches live, plus the RBS 6 Nations (on 24-hour delay), the Guinness Pro12 competition live featuring the top Irish, Welsh and Scottish sides, along with live coverage of the Anglo-Welsh Cup, the Greene King IPA Championship from England, the HSBC Women's Sevens Series, the Singha Premiership Rugby Sevens Series and World Rugby age-grade tournaments.
Subscribers also get to enjoy a growing list of regular rugby programs, featuring World Rugby TV, the weekly news-magazine program from World Rugby, Toyota Grassroots Rugby, covering the heart and soul of New Zealand club rugby, and Mainfreight Rugby, with highlights from the NZ Heartland Rugby competition.
